But with the excitement that surrounds the holiday season and the anticipation of Christmas, you may find it a challenge to keep your child focused on homeschooling. Here are some tips to help keep your learner engaged:

• Plan a fun activity for your child to participate in or attend after completing a set goal of assignments each week.

• Create a Homeschool “Count Down Until Winter Break” calendar.

• Give your child the opportunity to earn something extra special for staying focused and completing assignments. It could be a special gift or the choice to pick a Christmas holiday event to attend.
